It’s new year’s eve. Where am I? Home. Yes, I am staying at home welcoming 2005. Am I with my wife staying at home? You will think so but I am not. I am home with my mom, my sleeping son, a nanny and a maid. Where is my wife? She is with her friends, barbecuing.

Btw, she just called saying she is heading home now. It’s 9 o’clock, still early in fact considering it’s new year’s eve. Her friends are pursuing their new year’s eve activities by going to a café. Fyi, all her friends are still single. My wife has a desire to follow but then I think she realizes that she is a wife with a son. Why did I say she has the desire? She said if only she had not driven her car. She then simply could jump on any cars and enjoyed herself.

Anyway, that’s my selfish thought. I wish you all a prosperous new year. Life is short, life is beautiful. Enjoy your life.

Do you know that the price of Honda Jazz in Singapore is about Rp. 300 million rupiahs on the road, including Certificate of Entitlement (COE) of S$ 22,000? Do you also know that Honda Jazz is more expensive than Honda City there?

On the contrary, the price of Honda Jazz in Indonesia is about Rp. 140 million rupiahs on the road and Honda City is about Rp. 20 million rupiahs more expensive than Honda Jazz.

Of course, if we compare the standard of living in both countries, it’s not that surprising, however I am glad I’ve chosen Honda Jazz over Honda City. Using the same engine, it proves that Honda Jazz is more popular.

Tomorrow is Christmas. I haven’t decided which church to attend tonight. Every single church shall be crowded. My choices are Kristoforus, Salvator, MBK, Petrus& Paulus, Kemakmuran and Katedral. Let’s see. If I miss tonight’s mass, I will attend tomorrow’s, the earliest.

Merry Christmas to all of you. May we all live in peace, peace in mind, peace in heart.

Lucky that my neighbor still has an available parking lot so my wife can rent the lot. It’s only five houses away so it’s quite convenient. Fyi, my house is too small to accommodate two cars. Even to park my car to its place, a special parking skill is needed because it’s just too narrow. When I first moved in two years ago, this parking thing used to disturb me.

Of course I will have to pay for the rental parking lot. It is Rp. 125.000,- per month or it’s about Rp. 5000,- per day. What do you think? Cheap, so-so :)

Shit, just found out that our paediatrician has moved to Prapanca and no longer practise in Tanjung Duren. Prapanca is too far from my residence. Now, I am thinking of changing to other paeditricians but I am doubtful because he has handled Andrew since he was born. Besides, the first dose of vaccinations was given by him. I am not sure that other paeditrician will use the same brand of vaccine for the second dose and if not the same, whether it’s ok or not.

Anyway, I have decided to visit him at Prapanca as scheduled on January 10, 2005. I will then ask him about seeing other paeditricians.

Our Honda Jazz was delivered yesterday. Because of the car, I had a fight with my wife. I yelled at her over the phone. She decided things without consulting me and the worst part’s she claimed she did tell me. She had the window film changed without telling me, she also had the car’s identification number altered. In fact, I didn’t mind as long as she told me.

She is my wife. Although I am mad, she is my wife, mother of my son.

Mgr. Datubara; Rm. Suyudanta, SJ; Rm. Kuntoro, SJ, Rm. Markus, Pr; Rm. Bolly; Pater Dumais, SJ; Rm. Igo Sarkol, MSC; Rm. Yustinus, Pr; Rm. Haryanto; Rm. Rochadi, Pr; Rm. Pontoan, MSC, Rm. Akomen, Rm. Subagyo are priests who celebrated mass to commemorate a thousand days of Stanley passing away. Although there was heavy rain before the mass, a lot of guests were present.

I had been in the Cathedral since lunch time. I signed the receipt for 500 books of order of mass and 500 bags from Siem, I also signed the receipt for 450 boxes of cake from Martin. We set up the bags, filling in a box of cakes, a glass of mineral water, a VCD and a pack of snack. A cross of Benedict was not included in the bag but was given before mass so during mass, it would be blessed.

The mass ended at about 9 pm. After taking care of stipends to the priests, making sure of their transportation, I went home with my wife.

My boss is back to work after two days of feeling not well. Think he is too tired doing his daily and routine responsibilities plus recently preparing things for a thousand days of his beloved son, Stanley.

I am grateful that he is feeling better and get back to work. Believe it or not, I enjoy working more with my boss’ present in the office than without.

I believe when someone’s getting older, one should live healthier by exercising more frequently and regularly and deciding upon his/her daily diet.

I have just received an e-mail from my former employer in Singapore, SDL International informing me on an incoming job related to automobiles. Since ‘automobiles’ is not my field, I have to turn down the offer. Besides, the job requires me to stay in Singapore for at least two weeks. I don’t have the time now.

About three years ago, I worked for SDL Intl and stayed in Singapore for two weeks. My job’s to localize Nokia Mobile Phones, ranging from the phones’ menu to the manual books. There, I worked with translators from Malaysia and Thailand. So, if you have old model of Nokia mobile phones, the monochrome ones, I did the localization.

My wife’s maternity leave for three months ends today and she has to go to back to work. I dropped her this morning and just now she messaged me that she had managed to get about 90 cc of breast milk. Now that she’s back to work, she has to pump for breast milk in the office and later delivers it home. Quite complicated but it’s her duty to feed the baby.

We have planned that she goes home at lunch time every working days but right now, we haven’t got our car. Hope the car arrives soon. That day, the transportation of her milk with be smoother :)

Actually, I am not that comfortable leaving my baby at home without his mother but there’s nothing I can do. Let’s see.
