This morning I had my driver license extended in a mobile facility, a new service to extend driver licenses. We only need to find the mobile bus in certain public areas such as malls. Simply call 5446362 to find out the location of the bus.

It took me less than 5 minutes to get my new driver licenses, A and C. Practically I just had myself photographed, jot down my signature and had my fingerprint scanned.

So if your drivers licenses are due this year, make use of the facility. Save your time and save your energy.

A friend of mine who is working in Singapore is now thinking of moving back to Jakarta to continue his life. He has been working for about 3 years in Singapore. Think it’s a wise decision considering he is not planning to spend his whole life there. The sooner he’s back, the better lor.

His girlfriend is definetely one of the factors that make him go home. He must settle down, don’t you think? Working in a foreign country is not a solution. Even if it ends up that his girlfriend works in Singapore, he will still have to settle down.

I met both of them a month ago. She is a nice girl. Both are faithful Catholics. Should make a perfect couple.

Being not able to make my beloved one happy hurts me a lot, that a lot that I am willing to do anything. I wish I could take over her burden, I wish I could replace her position to have undergone all the bitterness and pain in her life.

I have tried every single effort to please her, to comfort her but her bitter life experience prevent her from going thru life comfortably. She always has many things in her mind. Consequently, every night she sleeps unpeacefully, always disturbed by her mind. Xanax helps her a bit.

I have learnt that life could be so painful. (sigh.....)

Inflation in Indonesia is hitting 7% to 8% and it’s very crucial. Do you know why? Because bank interest rate per year is less than inflation rate. Banks only give 6% to 7% interest for fixed deposit and 20% is to be deducted from the interest, so the net amount is about 5%.

What does it mean when inflation is high? It means that our saving keeps lessening, instead of growing. Then what should we do? I don’t know, perhaps we should find other investments that offer higher return. What are they? Mutual funds, probably or property or gold.

The bottom line is we have to take action to conquer inflation.

My son has slept with me and my wife for two nights. It’s because my nanny gets cough and letting my son sleep with her with her worsening condition is not wise.

With my son in my bedroom, I have to sleep in an extra bed. Although my bed is a king size bed, I decide not to sleep together because I am not a calm sleeper. I may hurt my son unintentionally.

Sleeping in an extra bed hurts my back. The bed is hard with limited width so I cannot stretch my body fully. I wake up several times during the night.

Is it wise to let my son sleep with a nanny without accompanied by his mom or dad? I don’t know.

Remember when I said I wanted to upgrade my Treo 600 to the latest Treo 650? I changed my mind after re-reading the specifications of Treo 650. Apart from having bluetooth, replacable battery, crispier screen and faster processor, it is exactly the same as Treo 600, even for the form factor. Actually, the price is also one of my considerations :) Priced at 6,4 million rupiahs, it is definitely not cheap. So far, my most expensive gadgets are my existing Treo 600, followed by my digital camera Casio Exilim S-100. I haven’t dreamed of having a gadget more than 10 million rupiahs. I’d rather buy a notebook.
