I don’t know about you but my water bill has increased significantly since the regional government of Jakarta introduced new tariffs a month ago. First ten cubic metres is priced Rp. 6200 per M3, second ten cubic metres is Rp. 7400 and the following consumption per cubic metre is priced Rp. 8850. If you use around 50 M3 per month, your bill will be about Rp. 500.000,-
Next month, the Indonesian government will hike electricity tariff by at least 10%. By that time, you’ll have to calculate your spending on public utilities per month, not ignoring them.
