My wife drinks her own breast milk. Last week, we were in Singapore, travelling without bringing our sons. Our second sond, Bastian is still breast-fed and therefore her mom’s breasts are still productive. Every three hours, her breasts will harden, producing milk and the milk must get out, with or without Bastian sucking her breasts. So, to soften her breasts, my wife used a pump, a product by Avent to get the milk out into a bottle. Not being able to throw the milk, she drank it. Of course she offered me to drink some but no, no, no, thanks.
Imagine it, three days and every three hours the milk must be pumped out. How many bottles of milk will you get? We managed to get several bottles frozen, brought them home, defrosting before giving it to Bastian.
