Fish & Co is my new lunch destination. I like its dory fish and fries. They have a very delicious taste, even better when combined with additional garlic. So, when I have my lunch at Taman Anggrek, it’s either Kiyadon or Fish & Co.

Believe it or not, the other factor that make me lunch at Fish & Co is the complimentary candies. In Australia, the candy is widely available with the label of ‘Mintees’. Can’t found any in Jakarta. Have asked my wife to ask a favour of her friend in Australia to bring some when she returns.

She needs a sofa so badly as though she didn’t have any sofas in her house. I just can’t understand why there is somebody who needs a sofa so badly. Is a sofa a main need? I think she confuses herself with primary and secondary needs. She is willing to spend twice of her salary for a sofa. Damn stupid….(very deep sigh…) It must have something to do with the genes. She thinks and acts as if she were very rich. Come on… wake up…

I feel pity for her. Even if she is nobody, I still fell pity for her. Sofa has become her main topic. She talks about it many times, during lunch time, during spare time, even in her bed time. It’s very annoying. Don’t she have something else more important to do?

I fully understand that nobody is perfect but please lah, don’t be that irrational. Spend your money wisely.

Nina invited us to her villa. We departed about 9.30 am and reached there one hour later. No traffic jam at all because it’s Sunday and it’s a fasting month.

Andrew enjoyed being there very much. He had a chance to see real horse, goat, butterfly and dragonfly. He usually watches them everyday on DVD which we play for him while he enjoys his breakfast. Andrew also rode a tandem bicycle with me ( I myself had a chance to ride a horse). He also enjoyed walking on the grass. We played all day.

I am glad Andrew can experience different environment. It’s the first time he goes to conuntryside, enjoying outdoor activities, seeing new things.

Thank for the opportunity.

You get a car loan from the company, meaning that you pay by installments monthly for 5 years to the company without interest with the price of 60% of the price of the car, the other 40% is paid by the company. In other words, your are subsidized by the company.

Then, the company’s car you get before the car loan program is still with you. For this car, you simply use it without having to worry about esclating prices of the gas, parking fee, toll fee, service fee because the company will pay them all.

Now, you get 2 cars from the company. One is yours, subsidized; the other is company’s car for you without you having to worry about any fees.

I think such facility is too much. I think you should get either one. What do you think?

Deposit Insurance Agency (Lembaga Penjaminan Simpanan), a new agency formed by the government of Indonesia about 2 weeks ago, has just raised its insurance rate 100 basis points to 11.5% p.a for unlimited deposit of money in rupiah. Consequently, many banks have also raised its interest rate to the same percentage as insured by the agency.

Starting today, at least two major banks, Bank Mandiri and Bank Niaga, have implemented the new interest rate of 11.5% p.a plus incentive of about 1.5% p.a.

So, forget about BCA or other banks that offer interest rate of 8% p.a.
